"It's All An Adventure"

Nordic Light International Festival of Photography (or just Nordic Light) is an international photo festival held annually in the city of Kristiansund, Norway. The festival was established in 2006, and has grown to become one of the most important photo festivals in Europe. The festival attracts famous photographers from all over the world.

 

I have been attending the festival since 2009 as a presenter, workshop leader, and exhibitor. From 2011-2018 I took on the role as co-host, behind the creative director, Morten Krogvold, and introduced and lead discussions for the English speaking audience.  In 2013, along with Hans Peter Brondmo and Anne Lise Flavik, I organized and directed Beyond Pixels, an "unfestival"  held under the auspices of Nordic Light.

 

Nordic Light is one of my favorite festivals and I look forward to it with great joy every year.
