Mt. Kailash in Tibet is considered the holiest place on earth to one out of every five humans. Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, and Bon pilgrims believe that walking around Mount Kailash on foot is a holy ritual that brings good fortune and absolves all sins. In August 2013, me and my Japanese companion, Kazz Tagami, traveled from Nepal, through western Tibet, to Mt. Kailash. Here are some photos from our journey. A coffee-table book of our adventure can be purchased directly from Blurb Books.
